"The Landscape Institute is the national organisation in the UK for landscape professionals concerned with enhancing and conserving the environment." June 1997 Johnsons of Whixley The first British nursery to be truly on-line. An easily navigable site with lots of information including availability lists. "At Johnsons of Whixley we aim to produce high quality, value for money plants and an equally high level of service." May 1997 British Contemporary Sculpture A virtual tour of the Goodwood sculpture park. A beautifully designed and informative site. "Twenty acres of woodland walks and glades provide an idyllic setting for forty important and innovative works of art by British sculptors of international reputation." April 1997 Sisley Garden Tours A comprehensive site with lots of useful stuff. Low on style but high on content. This site is a great source of infomation on UK gardens with lots of photos and includes a comprehensive directory of "landscapers", plantsmen and gardeners. March 1997 National Trust On-Line Handbook The well known National Trust handbook now on-line. A comprehensive listing of all National Trust properties including directions, opening times etc. Membershop details and other goodies are also included. February 1997 T.O.S.S.E.D.
